Photo story

A two-hour (4pm to 6pm)workshop providing participants the opportunity to create slideshows from digital photos. Stunning special effects, soundtracks, and voice narration can be added to the photo stories. Titles and captions can be added to personalize them.

MovieMaker1

A two-hour workshop allowing participants to become familiar with the software and some of its features. Only still pictures, transitions and sound are used in this beginning session to create great movie pictures.

This intermediate level workshop (2 hours), explores most components of the Movie-Maker software including advanced features for creating movies and editing to meet specific needs.

Digital camera

Participants will:

  • Explore advantages and disadvantages of using digital cameras in the classroom
  • Explore how teachers are using digital cameras in their classrooms
  • Experience taking and downloading pictures
  • Think about ways to manage the classroom when using digital cameras
